The Communication Manager oversees the internal and external communications strategy of the Ubisoft Philippines Studio and the Zone, ensuring that the communication needs of the Ubisoft group are being fulfilled.
Reporting directly to the Zone Communications Director, you will focus on employee and executive strategic communications, supporting the Managing Director and Philippine Studio Manager.
You will collaborate with studios in the Ubisoft Zone (Vietnam, India, and Singapore) and align strategic priorities and objectives. You will define, implement, and execute the communication strategy locally.
You will lead and monitor all events and campaigns in all our communication platforms, sharing our brand as Ubisoft to our target audiences.
You will serve as the spokesperson for the Philippines studio as needed, being the local point of contact both for the other Ubisoft studios and local press & media.
Zone Communications
- Collaborate with Zone Leads across India, Singapore, and Vietnam for the Zone comms strategy and messaging.
- Support the Managing Director in executing employee and executive messaging for the zone and cascading the zone level information locally.
- Be the main contact point based in Philippines for all global and zone employee communications, events and projects.
Employer Branding & Communications Strategy
- Define, implement and execute a local communication strategy that aligns and supports the goals of the studio, zone, and of the group.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the studio and the Zone to ensure messaging and branding consistency.
- Design and deliver a strong local employer branding strategy and plans, closely linked to the Talent Acquisition and Development plans and strategies.
- Create local communication campaigns & media alerts
- Shape local key messaging.
Executive Leadership Messaging and Strategy
- Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for various communication platforms, including executive presentations, speeches, articles, newsletters, and events.
- Provide media training, coaching, and feedback to the leadership team and ambassadors on their communication skills and style.
PR and Media Relations
- Serve as the point of contact and be the spokesperson for Ubisoft Philippines in events and for all local communication related inquiries
- Identify speakers and speaking opportunities for the studio and its products
- Manage press and influencer relations
Content Creation and Planning
- Position engaging studio content within the network and the group channels
- Plan and create content for all studio platforms (e.g. social media channels, intranet, and newsletters)
- Monitor, respond and engage with the studio’s followers in external channels
- Monitor, respond and engage with the employees on internal communications channels
Event Management and Execution
Identify, conceptualize and execute local external and internal events, including budgeting and forecasting (this includes but is not limited to studio town halls, gaming conventions, and other marketing events)
Studio Engagement & Support
- Provide the employees with studio, network and group updates
- Support the implementation and execution of network and group events
- Support the transversal team with the implementation and execution of other events and initiatives (including creation of job ads and posters)
- Lead the team in the application to local awards and recognition opportunities
- Support in the design of studio swag
- Support the Local Crisis Cell and manage Crisis Communications as needed.

- Excellent understanding and relevant experience in Employer Branding
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

- You maintain a high level of organization and proactivity, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge in basic graphic design and video editing
- Knowledge of the gaming, technology or media/entertainment industries is a plus
