Rockstar India is growing its HR team and is on the lookout for a passionate HR Generalist focused on bringing energy, passion and strong work ethic to compliment the rest of the team and support the studio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills and experience within a diverse and varied HR role; a thirst for knowledge and self-development will be a key feature of the successful applicant. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India. 

WHAT WE DO

  • The HR team is responsible for providing an inclusive, supportive and safe working environment for the studio.
  • We provide professional support and advisory services to managers and employees on all HR issues.
  • We ensure the Studio is compliant with all relevant employment legislation.
  • We assist the payroll team with the accurate and timely processing of pay and benefits for the studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and accurately process documentation and employee information, ensuring the HR Information System and internal HR databases are up to date.
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the HR Team, ensuring smooth operation of HR functions and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HR Team on daily HR activities and transactions, including scheduling meetings, HR events and maintaining the team’s agenda.
  • Support the HR Team in ensuring all people related policies and best practices are communicated and adhered to.
  • Coordinate training sessions, seminars and maintain the attendance and feedback records. 
  • Draft letters to employees on employment matters.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all HR and employee documentation.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to help identify ways to improve HR processes and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA in HR related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience working within HR teams.

SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Human Resource processes and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with confidence.
  • Attention to details.
  • Effective time management with the ability to shift priorities when needed.
  • Experience working with HR Information Systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees / stakeholders.

PLUSES

  • Previous HR experience within the Creative Industries – video games, film, television, music would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Workday with a focus on basic HR related processes.
