- Job Title: Manager, Facilities
- Job Summary: The Facilities Manager will oversee team performance and manage operations for 2 buildings. Fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Develops, manages tracks facilities capital and facilities operating expense budgets and establishes long-range facilities strategic plans in support of business goals. Oversees the planning and implementation of space allocation, furniture and facility equipment.

What you’ll do
- Foster a collaborative teamwork environment; promote energy and enthusiasm.
- Lead and coach facilities staff, coordinate workloads, and establish guidelines and expectations.
- Ensure team members take ownership of responsibilities. Manage team performance, as well as identify training and development opportunities.
- Work with Facilities Director and procurement team to bid and contract for scheduled and operational maintenance and project services.
- Work in conjunction with the Facilities Director to develop and execute overall vision of facilities team.
- Sets the strategy for service provider contracts to ensure accuracy of budgets and deliver cost savings opportunities.
- Manage the facilities team including outsourced contractors.
- Manage vendor relationships and work directly with property management team.
- Create and monitor annual maintenance budget and approve invoices for payment.
- Manage the facility’s ticketing system to ensure requests are addressed promptly, appropriately, and with the highest level of customer service. Troubleshoot and resolve complex, high-visibility facility issues.
- Serve as an escalation point and resource for facility maintenance problems or issues.
- Develop strategies to determine space-planning requirements for business. Facilitate studies, headcount growth projects and programming exercises to determine workspace needs.

What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree required or relevant work experience
- 5-7 years’ experience in building or facilities management experience required
- 3-5 years management experience
- Seasoned people management skills
- Commitment to satisfying internal and external business units
- Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and daily prioritization skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between $116,500.00 - $138,938.00 per year. The full range is $116,500.00 - $176,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
