The Role:
We are looking for our next team member to help AMD drive a new era of computing for AMD commercial solutions, with specialized support in Generative AI and Machine Learning in the cloud and datacenter, the fastest growing areas of the market. Responsible for providing technical support for targeted enterprise AI use cases, with a special focus on Machine Learning, Large Language Models(LLM), data pipelines and AI frameworks.

- Proficient in developing, managing and optimizing Machine Learning & Generative AI Solutions on Intel, Nvidia and AMD hardware and software ecosystems, or with other competitive AI Solutions, combined with a proven success in a customer facing role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a good balance of hardware, architecture and software expertise
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management and prioritization skills
- Strong internal (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) and external enterprise relationships

Key Responsibilities:
- Build Generative AI and Machine Learning POC’s with customers on Datacenter GPUs and CPUs utilizing open source frameworks, libraries and runtimes
- Win new commercial opportunities by working with our partners and end customers with technical talks, presentations, examples and demos
- Work with AMD internal teams across AMD Business Units to build technical presentations and documentation to be delivered in the field
- Provide technical assistance to sales personnel and OEM/Cloud partners in the development and deployment of AI Solutions
- Partner with sales in determining possible application of AMD based AI products and solutions to meet customer requirements
- Analyze OEM/Cloud product solutions and evaluate product performance based on customer needs
- Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive AI solutions and work with internal teams to provide competitive responses where needed
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and detail technical solutions that are aligned with the end-customer objectives
- Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to end customer development and software teams
- Be a credible AI subject matter authority to internal stakeholders and customers on direct and indirect product capabilities throughout the ecosystem.
Preferred Experience:
If you have a broad technical understanding of Hardware and Software Solutions for Generative AI in LLM, and the expertise needed to successfully architect and win AI opportunities with end customers, we'd love to talk.
- Generative AI and Machine Learning experience with Datacenter GPUs and CPUs, as well as experience using deep learning frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Experience working with industry AI Infrastructure, including AMD ROCm, Cuda, OneAPI for on-prem Data Center, or Cloud AI deployments
- Experience and understanding of the latest Deep Learning Architectures and training techniques, and AI tuning techniques across a large range of parameters and model spaces.
- Optimize and debug AI workloads when running on GPU and CPU through comprehensive profiling and analysis.
- Python and bash scripting (C++ useful)
- Possess a solid understanding of the competitive AI landscape and clearly articulate the technical differentiation and value proposition associated with AMD versus its competitors
Academic Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
