THE ROLE:

THE PERSON:
A great role for someone with a solid background in manufacturing, demand planning, and supply chain management, particularly within the high-tech hardware or semiconductor industries. Given the focus on readying hardware for production release, the position involves coordinating with multiple teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that all the pieces fall into place for smooth production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide end to end planning expertise and strategic guidance on demand forecasting, supply availability, operational constraint, customer prioritization, buffer strategy etc.
- Leads and champions the refinement and improvement of sales forecasting process and systems to support business requirements, and lead to improved forecasting efficiency and effectiveness, and result in increased forecast accuracy and customer service levels
- Ensure supply by coordinating between business unit and centralized demand and supply teams in order to assess current plans, evaluate key business scenarios and understand /represent the E2E plan and tradeoffs to the business units
- Partner with GOQ, provide supply request and obtain timely supply commit plan to ensure supply continuity and resolve supply discrepancy as it arises
- Builds and maintains a strong partnership across teams, supporting leadership for S&OP/IBP processes. Facilitate key meetings as needed to create the consensus demand plan, align on operational supply plan, and drive key decisions necessary around gaps and tradeoffs.
- Manage planning communication and narratives for reporting of key planning outputs, ensuring risks and opportunities are shared proactively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous >10 years’ experience in demand planning, supply plan role, preferably in high tech hardware or semiconductor industry. Hands on experience required
- Good understanding in ASICS manufacturing process and semiconductor industry
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to analyze/interpret data, problem solve and develop solutions to complex problems
- System focused, process oriented, organized, adaptive and dependable team player
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel software
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical forecasting methods
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, organizational and time-management abilities, inter-personal skills and ability to work with personnel at all organizations levels
- Flexibility and adaptability to the requirements of a fast-paced environment
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent professional experience
