The opportunity
Your job is to brainstorm, strategize and produce creative, on-brand content that wows our clients and impresses leads - including blog posts, ebooks, landing pages, website copy, social posts, banner copy, newsletter campaigns, video scripts, presentations, case studies, data reports, webinars, and more.
Who are you? A natural storyteller who has a way with words. You're a self-starter, you like to take ownership, and you have a healthy appreciation for weirdness. You're quick on your feet, proactive about getting things done, and prepared to take on any task thrown your way. You have a passion for tech and are eager to find creative ways to explain that tech to customers. You keep to deadlines, push yourself to grow and improve, and welcome constructive feedback. And that typo really upset you.
We are a small content team, which means that while everyone has clear roles, we are all ready to muck in whenever the need arises, and everyone's contribution matters. We are flexible, with an understanding that business goals are constantly changing and stakeholders all work differently, often impacting our strategy and workflow. Plus, you will get the opportunity to work with top marketers, all with a deep respect for the central role content plays in any good marketing campaign.
What you'll be doing
- Ideate and write compelling marketing content (blog posts, social copy, ebooks, landing pages, website copy, newsletter campaigns, presentations, case studies, data reports, ad copy, webinars), which creates credibility, demonstrates expertise, and drives conversion and/or retention.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders from the product marketing, product and revenue organizations to uncover and source interesting and authoritative content.
- Become an expert in our extensive product portfolio, and stay up to date with industry trends and customer sentiment.
- Conduct thorough research and seek out the necessary information before diving into a content piece
- Work closely with other marketing stakeholders, such as digital advertising, events, operations and design, to make content come to life.
What we're looking for
- Native English speaker – with impeccable spelling and grammar - absolute MUST
- Experience as a marketing writer (hi-tech/gaming/adtech a plus)
- Great research, organizational and project management skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Able to generate content fast
You might also have
- Experience with social media management
- Experience with copywriting
- Understanding of HTML, SEO, Salesforce and Google Analytics
